McCrory wants new boss before season start

We want a bold, brave British type. Throw the ball out to the full-backs, play the ball, pass the ball and thats what we need and its not easy. We cant rush this one."

Was anyone else expecting that sentence to end with the words 'jumpers for goalposts'?

Ex Bristhole Shitty manager who did very well at Malmo getting them to the European Cup final against Nottingham Florists, a bit ageing now but would be good, never hit it off in this country as a manager but well respected all across Scandanavia.

Has also been manager of China, Uzbekistan and India national teams.

Just done a Wiki search, he's managed more clubs/teams that Razor Ruddock has had hot dinners!

Certainly would be an interesting choice.

So he's used to dealing with almighty overlords who prescribe everything he can and can't do?

" ...a shortlist of 10 ... we've spoken to 3"

Not exactly in a hurry then. Do you think they know the season starts in 9 days time?

There's more to Scandinavia than Sweden.

If we wanted to go down the route of a successful Scandinavian then we should turn out attentions to Egil Olsen. Poor record in difficult circumstances at Wimbledon but has a good record here, managed the Iraqi national side so shouldn't have issues with the current board and is a declared communist which as a philosophy could work with our young and eager squad.

I was surprised to hear Houghton is still around...he either immediately pre or post dated Hodgson at the 82ers, when they were taking their comedy descent to the basement, from Div 1 in consecutive seasons.

After the fascist, the communist, seems fair to me.

So according to that we haven't spoken to Tisdale then, I thought we had spoken to him twice?

From the wording I take it that we had PREVIOUSLY spoken to Tisdale twice not in relation to this vacancy.
