"Not enough Yams, how am I supposed to be a competitive sportsman without Yams?"

Saying he's 'one of the most senior members' of the squad is a bit polite. He's nearly double the age of a fair few. Who's the next 'most senior' player? Williams? He's 26. There's a decade between them.

Bedwell's illicit interview earlier in the week suggested that Ward, Williams and Wes are the senior players amongst the bunch. Ignoring the stay-at-homes they're the only 3 out there with any kind of career behind them.

What about our friendly result? Thought we had a match last night?

The Swindon propaganda department have apparently informed Sam we won 5-0 last night.

They haven’t mentioned goal scorers, but I bet that Spurs lad got one.

Yaaaaay!  Comical Ali was brilliant!  What a pity he isn't still around?  He could have been such a great addition to the STFC PR machine!

"There are no concerns over a lack of experience over the squad. Right now, we have melted down Paul Benson into a potion of experience to be drunk by our young players. This will give them the ability to talk in cliches about the boys trying their best and to master the dark arts of winning a free kick. Adam Rooney has agreed to pay us 8k a week to play for us next year and Luke Rooney has been sold to Wonga.com. All hail almight Jed Agombar-Power"

Let me tell you how pleased I am to have been appointed as the Club's new Media Spokesman by the almighty Jed Agombar-Power.  It was no fun being dead and I am now living proof of the restorative qualities of draught Guinness.  But my appointment will by no means be the last.  I am soon to be joined by Kerry Katona as Finance Director and Paul Gascoigne as Head Fitness Coach.  More will follow.  Our enemies are already fleeing in disarray.  Just wait until I bring you news of the new Manager appointment.  It will not be long now, you disbelievers.

It's frightening when you put it like that!
