Agombar will be no different to the Samsung guys.

He didn't even get to go to Portugal so what is his worth? He's 21 too so he should be here to compete.

Is Agombar just supposed to be another Darren Dykes / Ben Martin. I.e. a gamble who we don't pay much to and you never know MIGHT just come off? I have no problem with it if that's the case. Just wish they'd say as much.

Years back a Footy squad would be full of players who were contracted but didn't play for years in some cases.
Here for real emergencies only....maybe if the plague hit the club or something.

No doubt Reg may have a few examples of players here who were pretty decent but hardly ever featured.

Mike Blick come on down, 7 games in 6 seasons from 64 to 70...made his debut in a win v Rovers, played his last game in a win v City....Mick was a centre half, who stepped in when Mel Nurse or Frank Burrows or Stan Harland got injured, which didn't happen very often...Mick was a very proud memeber of the 68/69 squad...he just never played.

Nathan Thompson! Think he's now in his 4th year as a pro.

No, Mick is now retired in Spain, having worked as a prison officer post STFC.

if you believe the rumours then he's somehow related to Jed, possibly even HIS SON!

"We ended up with a 14-year-old (Tommy Aldridge) on the pitch. We had three or four 15-year-olds on the pitch second half as well."

It seems even the youth team is too young...

They were a very young side!

I played LB for Fairford last night and the lad in the second half i was marking was 15-years-old.

Number 4 - Harry Agombar ??
