Very highly rated by Spurs fans. Could be the best of the lot.

Indeed, Mason and Pritchard are both really highly rated at Spurs by the management and fans, a better signing than Obika would have been.

Good choice by the gaffer!
So why did KMac allegedly not want him?

It's a great shame that such a potentially very decent signing has taken place under this cloud of uncertainty.

Is Navarro still with us? Read a rumour this morning that he may have to retire as his knee is fucked, not sure there is any truth in it

He had tweeted that he was going to London today for injections in his knee. Haven't seen anywhere that he might have to retire, but it doesn't sound great

Someone asked him how his recovery was going, he responded saying his time with swindon is up anyway and then deleted the tweet.

Surely if he does retire than his contract will be paid up by the insurance?

Wouldn't he still get paid though? I was wondering if maybe clubs have insurance against this kind of thing.

Remember Mike Marsh retiring perhaps earlier than he should http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Marsh_(footballer) "As part of the insurance payout he received when he retired he was required not to play league football again, so he spent the remainder of his playing days in the non-league game."

Yeah, insurance would cover it. I think it's all done through the PFA these days.
