Has he not been released? In which case he will be getting nothing now.

I don't know what we have offered him but if it is the best offer he gets he won't have much of a choice.

I see that according to Sam - Collins, McEveley, Caddis, Navarro, Benson, Rooney and Ferguson all omitted from the Portugal squad.

No surprises apart from Ferguson who I presume is injured and Jay Mac who has been subject of a bid by MKD in a swap for McLeod so whether that deal is being pushed through this week? or if not the swap an outright sale to MKD instead.

All high earners that are obviously not wanted and we need their wages gone.

Whilst getting JMac out would be a bit of a bonus....I kind of assumed he was too shit to attract interest....McLeod though, I suppose not quite at the Leon Knight level of contempt....but a footballer about whom there's much to dislike.

Indeed.

McLeod has courted hatred and dislike in the eyes of other fans wherever he has played (myself included) and has for some reason got himself a reputation of being a disruptive influence at every club he has been at but nobody can ever seem to find any supporting evidence for this, it is just "known".

I guess we could do worse if we are after an experienced striker but I am not a massive fan of his having seen him play 4 or 5 times in the flesh, yes he scores goals but a lot of them are penalties.

Jay Mac leaving would free up a pretty large chunk of wages too I imagine.

I reckon Navarro might be forced to retire, he always seems to be crocked.

I was thinking this too, maybe an insurance pay off and get him off the wage bill, has he ever played more than 3 games in a row for us? I think we signed a crock there.

Shockhorror the lesset spotted Henville has apparently travelled with the squad.

Is he in training on the comeback trail, or is this a morale booster.

Had we signed Knight, I don't think I could have attended a match where he was playing...if we sign McLeod, I think I could just about stomach it.

I'd rather have McLeod as our lone striker (if we persist with that formation) than Williams if I'm honest
