  SWINDON Town have verbally offered Darren Ward a new contract at the County Ground, the Advertiser can reveal.

Yep, verbal is one thing, actually signing something else.  On that note, was it ever officially announced that Foderingham signed his deal (apologies if I missed it)?

We offered Mac a verbal contract just before he signed for Brentford.
