Town should 'pray' ahead of Spurs clash

MARK Cooper has suggested Swindon Town’s best method of defence against Tottenham Hotspur tonight is good, old-fashioned prayer.

Bit naught of the Adver to report like this.

Context and intonation is everything. See Monks on the forums are trying to crucify Cooper over it.

Pretty much clears up that things have gone on which saw kmac quit. The personal problems rumour was never realistic anyway.

Its just a shame that we don't know specifically what went on. I wonder whether it will come out?

I doubt kmac will go public. The problems are obvious without him saying anything though

If we can't even beat Tottenham in a friendly, however will we fare against the might of Rotherham and Shrewsbury?! Sad

I've always felt that the Club Chaplain role was one that we had underutilised in the past.  Why bother having the post at all if we are not formally going to invoke the help of a higher being once in a while, even if this is just a pre-season friendly?  Divine intervention should not be sniffed at.

The chap reading the sports news this morning said Town Kipper Paul Caddis, which raised a smile!
