He is a massive massive cunt. The ill excuse has worn thin as he does it every tour.

I hope the people at the CG tonight get a full refund regardless of the fact that half of the acts performed. I presume it won't come out of STFC coffers either as the income was guaranteed regardless of attendance. Weather and drunken women aside, it sounds as if tonight was a bit more of a success than last night.

Just the legacy is leaves for future concerts, that's the worry. Perhaps if they aim for an different audience they'll get another chance?

Seems to be tho those that have bought standing tickets for a tenner are being allowed to sit in the stands where the tickets were 20

In recent years that's been happening at Murrayfield for 6 nations matches. By the cheapest tickets you can, then walk around to the pricey seats once the game's underway.

I wish I knew this before I went! More money for beer.

Fair to say there won't be any more concerts then?  At least when the lights went out at home to Tranmere in 1992 we got to replay the fixture.  Cheesy

They could try again next year, but for different target audience perhaps? A decent rock gathering would be good.

How long until somebody blames the power cut and the weather on the board?
Weather no. Power cut? Well, maybe not the board but probably STFC if it was an electrical fault causing a power outage (i.e. internal to the premises) rather than a failure in the power supply. Although, this may not be bad news for the club/promoters. While it's obviously a PR clusterfuck, that ship had long since sailed anyway, and as someone else has pointed out the promoters may well be insured for the thing being abandoned due to this kind of eventuality (and if they're not, they deserve to go bust). That being the case, this may well be the only way they actually have any hope whatever of seeing any kind of return on the whole fiasco or at least stemming their losses. And maybe even having enough to pay our £300k or at least a chunk of it. Which they sure as shit couldn't have done on the back of the ticket sales. So this could be, for the promoters and the club anyway, actually quite a positive outcome. Although clearly not for the poor sods who shelled out, got piss wet through and didn't see the "artistes" they'd paid out for. On the upside, they were all shit, so everyone's a winner really

Bit of a bugger for all concerned, they'll have to shorten the sets or they'll overrun the 11pm curfew. I assume the 11pm thing is pretty universal..

I was hoping it would've been a success alothough not my taste in music. This whole clusterfuck will give the club a bad name. even though its got nothing to do with the board. The mongs on Fb have a short memory saying swindon cant organise anything, forgetting, Bryan Adams, Elton John, Biffy Clyro and that Radio 1 thing.

Let's be honest, Peter Andre only has one song so a short set would be fine.
