My mrs paid full price. Told her to complain and claim a refund.
why? if you buy something in a shop at full price and then see it's reduced to half price the next day, you don't go in demanding a refund do you?

No but for example, If I bought a shirt at full price and hadn't worn it and next day it was half price I would return it.

if it was unused, I would and then buy it again at the refunded price.

are the club allowing people to refund the tickets they paid full price for and buy again for the reduced price?

No problem, but surely there's no problem in returning a ticket at the original price then buying the exact same ticket at half the price?

I think that sounds fair personally.

can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to do it, aren't the sales being handled by ticketmaster or such?

still think it's daft to complain about paying full price

There in lies the problem of jumping in with both feet. If you've paid a higher price, tough shit

Surely standing prices would be the cheaper of the two anyway?

Bit of a joke this situation really. I'd be a bit pissed off if I'd paid full whack for a ticket. That said, those that did were happy to pay the price at the time.
