Or when you buy something from a shop and find it on sale for half the price a week later.

I'd also heard 4500 but this was for the 2 days in total

They have dropped prices to £25 each over the weekend, I'm sure by next weekend they are going to be pratically giving them away wanting people in the ground as it would be embarrasing to the promoters surely with the acts they have got.
Surely it is the acts that they have booked are the reason the tickets aren't selling very well. The ticket prices are about average if they had decent upto date acts.

Shouldn't have thought so, bit like when they do special promos on tickets at the CG, season tickets holders don't get a refund - and I wouldn't expect one!
Absofuckinglutely.

People booked time off from work to phone in and book tickets the moment they went on sale.

That must sting a little now.

I don't think there'd be that big a take up if they gave you a tenner to attend.

This has turned into a bit of a disaster really.  If they organise any future ones, nobody in their right mind is going to buy tickets at the initial price after the amount they've now reduced to.

Slash prices to try and get the place filled or keep prices the same and end up with a half empty ground?

Bit of a no brainer really, the aim of these concerts is make money
