Yup good luck. Would be nice to see an STFC youth product come good. Hope we get to ease him in rather than chuck him under the spotlight, though Thompson excelled at that I guess.

Although Thompson was not a first year pro when he broke through!!  One of the problems I see is that there an awful lot of STFC fans seem to turn on our youth team products without really giving them the chance to step up.

Agree. I'd also add that alot of people seem to think Louis Thompson is good enough already. I think you might see a different player in a struggling side and playing centre mid is a bigger ask than where his brother plays. Of course he may well be up to it and i hope he is but don't be surprised if he struggles.
This is where fans will need to stick with him and all the other young lads

KMac knows a few things about developing youth. I can't see the real younguns being chucked in until they're ready.
