Anyone watching today's coverage? My tip is So Beloved (16/1) for the 4.25! Anyone else fancy sharing? really looking forward to the gold cup and will probably punt on Simenon (7/1)

I love Ascot. I've never been, but for one week a year you see the race-goers at Waterloo station every morning - dressed up to the nines, immaculately turned out with their top hats and Royal Enclosure badges.
And then again in the evening when I'm on my way home and they're making their way back...hot, sweaty, sunburned and shit-faced. Women with mascara all over the shop and walking barefoot. The transformation is phenomenal.

Nice picture - the early evening exit is something to behold

Could do with Hughes stepping up today. I had Sky Lantern in the Guineas when came home at 11/1. Have to stick with her despite being half that price. Playing with my winnings anyway I suppose.
