I was expecting a little more of a whinge to be honest.
Sounds like Bristol City have been on the case for quite some time.

I can get why he went, 4 years, probably more money in his pocket, owner with cash to build a squad. But coming out with the "bigger club, step up" stuff, well I hope he gets a fitting CG reception

He was in a team heading towards the championship, now he has joined a club who have come down from the championship.

The "bigger club" thing can generally come back to bite you in the arse.
Just ask Sean O'Hanlon.

I think what he means is that he's gone to a club spending beyond there means. He was quite happy to stay here while we continued to do the same but now wants a step up, in salary!

He doesn't actually call them a bigger club in that interview, just a club with a better chance of promotion next season. In all honesty, I'd find it hard to disagree with that as things stand. And I hate Bristol City.

Like all the players that we bought in the Fitton era, we paid a bit of money with the aim of then selling them on at a profit. That's what has happened....it also happened with Cox, Austin, and Ritchie. Caddis possibly, and only Ferry has let the policy down...although more than covered by profit elsewhere.

And he tried to miss his penalty. Only complete luck made it go in!

With Lansdowne's supposedly open cheque book, it would be very difficult (but also hilarious) to see Bristol not managing promotion next season.

He did, the Adver didn't print it. Well, technically it was BBC RS interview I suppose, the Adver may have had their own. In any case listen to the radio interview

Let's hope he suffers the 'Andy Williams Syndrome'.
Left Yeovil for a 'bigger' club and they go and get promoted and he is stuck in League 1.
Speaking of Yeovil, I was disgusted to hear that at a meeting of League clubs they were the most outspoken for being against League 1 and 2 clubs getting a bigger proportion of the revenue for League clubs.
Here's hoping that comes back to bite them on the arse in the not too distant

When/where was this? They were probably too busy screwing their sisters to be paying much attention.
