Simon Cox away to Northampton in '09 was a pretty decent performance (hat-trick). Good job he was on form, because the rest of the team were crap and conceded 3 goals.

A memorable game because DRS flashed his cock at a goading Northampton fan.

Richard Dryden's debut! Think it was against Stoke & he scored an own goal after about 10 minutes!!! AOB was unplayable against Exeter. Darius Henderson's double against Bristol City also sticks in the memory!!

Some recent stand out's for me in an ineffectual sense (although I'm sure there have been worse..)

Any of Jamie Slabber's in a town shirt - the worst loanee I've ever seen. If he's a footballer I'm a cheese & pickle sandwich.

Vincent Pericard (Sept 2010) v Plymouth (didn't jump for one header or chase one ball all night). I actually booed him when he was subbed that day I think the lazy, useless wage-collecting fuck. I think we lost 2-3 at home and they hardly won again for 6 months. Irrationally I blame Pericard for Austin leaving so early, he must have thought, I'm not doing all the running for "Big Vinnie."

Mattia Lanzano v Hereford (2011). Okay we are in complete and utter control at 2-0, don't try and walk the ball around the striker when he closes you down you twat. Oh fuck they've gone and scored 3 times from 3 speculative forays into our box. Another Di Canio special overseas nugget. It didn't help that he was Italian...

Any of Bobby Howe's master classes circa 2001/02 - Fucking attrocious wanker, made Andy Gurney look class.

Ricky Shakes v Peterborough (2006) - Pace isn't a useful attribute if you can neither trap a ball nor pass Ricky. No wonder Roberts was always pissed... Shakes drove me to drink a lot during 2005-2007.

Personally I thought David Duke and Matt Hewlett got singled out in the King era...

A more recent one, Alan Navarro at home to Bury when his name was cheered and he was booed as he was subbed off. An awful display. Another contender from last season would be Nathan Byrne at Brentford in the play offs.

Best save I've ever seen live from Bauza's header. 4 sides of the ground got off their feet to applaud that, probably the only time I can honestly say I've ever seen that happen!!

Haha, I forgot about that. Was it definitely 'boro. I though I'd only seen us play once from the Arkells - the one where Diggers kicked the ball to Emerson. But I thought sub-subbed came when I was on the Bank.

Its probably my memory that is shot, but its going to irritate me.

Three of the best opposing players in recent years:

Fabian Delph for Leeds at County Ground when they beat us 3-1

Anthony Pilkington for Stockport in a midweek game, scored and played superbly.

Zaha in pre season, brilliant to watch.

Definitely Boro - September 1990 I think, my first game at CG for a number of years after moving back to Glos.

Thanks. I'll sleep better to know that. I'm not even joking either, sadly.

Random I know but Neal Fenn away at Bradford circa 98/99. On loan from spurs but awful in every way imaginable.
