Ok chaps and chapesses
We have decided that we will book ten to fourteen days holiday at the end of August. I know it's going to cost me one way or another as it is cane the family time.
We have in the past Been going to Cyprus and made our own arrangements. For various reasons we do not wish to go back to our old stomping ground though we have not ruled out Cyprus per see.
We have a nine year old who needs entertaining and kids clubs would be a bonus though not essential as he makes "friends" easily. S/C, B&B or All Inc would be our choice as would a private rent.
Any sensible help would be welcome.

How about planning to drive an old London bus to the south of France, but ending up in Greece? Oh and you could pick up Una Stubbs on the way.

Sounds like a worry free week or two. Personally don't see what's wrong with Cornwall. Can't go wrong, unless it rains. |

Surely a lot depends on what you want to do with your time. Beaches? Activities? Lively or quieter? etc.
When my kids were younger we always went outside UK because of the weather being so unpredictable here.
Favourite destinations included Algarve, Costa Brava and Greek Islands.

Got to be done...
Totally radical for the time....ordinary young Brits only ever went abroad to fight wars. When I first left the country, you were only allowed to take £50 tops with you, so screwed was the post war economy. |
