Adver News: Town turn down Flint offers

I'm no fan of Jed and Co. but if you were a big creditor of the club and wanted payment wouldn't you just inform the Adver the club owes you and try and shame them into paying up - at the very least it would make things uncomfortable for Jed.

I've always thought from day one they were in only in it for what they could squeeze out of the club and I am absolutely certain none of them has the first idea how to run a football club.

Some maybe true,but my issue is the things like cars and being paid.Watkins took a big wage,the board all had cars.People worrying about Power didnt give a fuck when it was Spencer who did the same thing.

Listen this board may be the worst thing that ever happens to us but they seem to be getting alot of shit based on rumours.

It may be stupidly inaccurate shit, but this is what happens when boards go silent bar the odd tweet and the perhaps a director-or-maybe-not linked in profile update.

Thus far they've run it (the club) exactly opposite to the Fitton consortium. We didn't think that was minted at the time, but even given an "anything better than the last lot" backdrop they were open and communicative from day 1.

I know unsubstantiated rumour is just that, but for some reason, I get a feeling in my ample stomach that there is some truth behind it all, and we are well and truly screwed. I don't know. It could all be BS anyway .

But to counter for countering sake what if he was one from a group of employees or ex-employees that had access. They'd narrow it down to a few people but not a specific individual to pursue. Actually, you made this point anyway..

Waving a piece of paper in front of us at that meeting is hardly proof of anything - the only investment into the club remains Power's £1.2m loan and that is all but spent.

I'm buggered if I know. Can only guess.

If true then it's somebody privvy to sensitive information.

If not then it's somebody privvy to some information and embellishing the rest. It could just be a secretary in earshot of some discussions and who answers the phone.
