What?

He's been a decent solid defender for us. I'm surprised he's dropped back into League Two. Definitely someone I would have happily kept if at all possible.

I'm probably in a minority but I'm glad we kept Flint instead of Devera.

Ideally, we'd keep both.

Both are decent solid, if not spectacular defenders for a top 6 League One club. Also worth remembering we haven't 'kept' Flint yet and the only reason he was offered a new contract is because he's under 23.

If Devera was 23 and Flint was 26 I have no doubt we would have offered a contract to Devera instead of Flint.

I liked Devera, his injury record wasn't great last season though.

I'm surprised that he didn't have half the Championship after him after today's story about the interest in McCormack.

Pompey mean business then.

Good player and ideally would have liked to have kept him.  More solid and dependable than Flint but without the potential upside that Flint has

Our defence was at its best when he and Ward played together, He's a centre back definitely not a full back. Wish we had kept him.

Good Luck to Joe! Shame he got injured when he did as I thought he and Ward had a great understanding! What a cross against Yeovil at home for that goal...!

He's better than that... unless they are going for an assault on the title and he fancies a bit of glory. I'd have kept him here though, so I might rate him more than others!

Good luck to him....always gave his all and got better and better.
