He's been a decent solid defender for us. I'm surprised he's dropped back into League Two. Definitely someone I would have happily kept if at all possible.

I'm probably in a minority but I'm glad we kept Flint instead of Devera.
Ideally, we'd keep both. Both are decent solid, if not spectacular defenders for a top 6 League One club. Also worth remembering we haven't 'kept' Flint yet and the only reason he was offered a new contract is because he's under 23. If Devera was 23 and Flint was 26 I have no doubt we would have offered a contract to Devera instead of Flint. |

Our defence was at its best when he and Ward played together, He's a centre back definitely not a full back. Wish we had kept him.
