Not seen it mentioned anywhere but Morshead tweeted last night:

"Stephen Crouch was appointed a director of Lee Powers newco Swinton Reds 20 Ltd at the end of last month"

More questions than answers as usual then.....

But Swinton Reds still doesn't have any (official) connection with the club.

Pending takeover, perhaps?

- What do Swinton Reds 20 Ltd do?
- If its linked to Swindon Town then why Swinton?
- What are Power's links to Swindon Town?
- What are Crouch's links to Swindon Town?
- Why are the players contacting Power about contracts? (Source Adver report from McCormack)

I think it was in the "nine months of mayhem" section yesterday, it mentioned that it was one of Crouch's accountancy firms that has been going over the books for the last few months.

I guess a possibility is Swindon Town as an abbreviation. Retarded though.

I looked at the McCormack report and couldn't see any reference to Power? Did they change the article or am I missing something? Can you link to that?

I definitely read an article recently where a player was saying his agent would contact Lee Power.

Jedders has admitted previously that Power is involved as he 'understands' football and dealing with Agents etc. I don't see this being any different to the Spencer situation although as it relates to the new board rather than Sir Paolo of Canio a lot of people are up in arms.

They are suspicious buggers but we really need to stop trying to see a conspiracy in everything.

Probably means nothing but I was digging into Swinton Red 20 Ltd and saw that the company details are based at  “IPS LAW LLP” below are a few things that IPS LAW LLP specialise in.
Would seem strange that Sam says Swinton Red 20 Ltd is an independent venture and has no relevance to STFC, it must be football related in some way and with a name like that??

Commercial
•   Shirt Sponsorship Agreements.
•   Technical kit supply agreements.
•   Commercial partnership agreements.
•   Brand licensing and merchandising agreements.
•   Inter club co-operation agreements.
•   Electronic turnstile operation agreements.
•   Media content development agreements.
•   Website optimisation agreement.

Player Transfers
•   Player transfers.
•   Playing Contracts.
•   Agent Representation Contracts.
•   Compromise agreements.
•   Image rights structures.

Edit:
Having another look they also cover property including
•General property issues which include rights over property eg rights of way, rights to connect to services and releasing of restrictive covenants, dealing with flying freeholds, unregistered titles, neighbour’s rights.

If that is the case, it almost seems as though they have some sort of plan!
