ON MARCH 1, Kevin MacDonald walked into a no-win situation at Swindon Town.

Sad How can it have been a no win task? They were in an automatic promotion spot and had the talent and drive to stay there, even losing Matt and Paolo. Probably an ideal chance to get the team going for the final push. Doesn't look like he's got what it takes, despite just clinging on to a play off spot from that position.
Mind you I have my suspicions that the new owners are very much 'wide boys' looking for a profit somewhere. There's just something odd about selling a £1m palyer for half his value and then doing their best to alienate a winning manager so he leaves ?? There was a place in the championship going begging and they threw it away. They're not Oxford fans are they?

OK WM, I will take the bait-

It was no win for KMac in that if we had gained promotion through either an auto slot or the play offs, many would have put it down to the work Paolo did before decamping. In the event, failing to gain promotion is KMacs fault for ruining the work Paolo did before decamping

I'm sure Sam explained that in the first part of the article anyway.

You might well hide.  I'm outraged at the suggestion I would need to use a pseudonym!

It looks like the account has been deleted already?  They were scared off too easily.
