You've been handed a one-off jaunt in the Tardis to revist a game - which one do you choose?

Maybe a combination of a cracking day out plus the game or just the game itself.

Birmingham 4 Swindon 6 my choice - a great combination of game/day out

Hard to disagree with that one.

Outside of Swindon, when I was living in Newcastle I had a ticket for the 4-4 draw with Arsenal (Arsenal 4-0 up) in the ol' online shopping basket but the missus convinced me not to go. I would have loved to have been a neutral at that one.

Tough one between that and the '69 final. The '69 final means more really, but I and my peers weren't born then and so nobody to reminisce with

Liverpool 2 Swindon 2...Premiership season.

We passed them off the pitch and the atmosphere was electric.

In truth lots to chose from.

From the games I was at:
Swindon 2 Man U 2. This one had it all; Cantona sent off, Nijholt's huge deflection going over Schmeichel, Hughes getting walloped by someone in the Shrivvy Road, the early goal for Man U (I remember the MOTD commentator saying "There's the first" on the highlights later), the fifteen miscues in the build up to the second and the "We should've beaten 'em" celebrations afterwards. We went into it after being butchered 7-1 at Newcastle, United came to use after doing Wednesday 5-0 so everyone thought they might get double figures. It never seems to work out that way...

From the games I wasn't:
League cup final '69. Seeing Swindon lift a major trophy after beating a football giant at Wembley would be beyond awesome. I can't see the chance ever coming again.
