Swindon Town: Simon Ferry leaves as playing budget is halved
     


Simon Ferry is one of five players released by Swindon, with the club set to halve their £4.5m playing budget for next season.

Although not a bad player, is Simon Ferry any better now than he was four years ago?

I don't think so. Stagnated a little this season. A change is good for all concerned. If (big if I know) we can replace him with someone with adequate passing and a bit more muscle and nous in the final third, we'll have done well.

Still love him though xx
