Germany lording it over Spain, while England sit on the sidelines. Interesting parallels between the Champions' League and the EU really.

...I can still see Real Madrid winning 3-0 at the Bernabeu.
How the other Bundesliga clubs will compete with Dortmund and Bayern I will never know.

Bundesleague is going to dominate European football for the next few years as we did in the naughties because of the work they have put in over the past 10 years, they missed out on success becauee they were getting their house in order. The plastic prem could learn a thing or two from them.

I still think La Liga is the best at the moment, Bundesliga to take over within 5 years...

Dortmund would have gone out to Malaga in the last round without a ludicrous decision from the officials. It's cup football the best team doesn't always win.

Bayern score offside goal and another which should have been disallowed, on a pitch that was waterlogged to stop them playing, to win 4-0.
Good on them. However talk of Barca's demise is a little premature and is a direct result of Sky/talksport/the 24/7 media in general's over the top reaction to any result that comes in these days.
Fair play to Dortmund though love seeing the most corrupt club in the world get gubbed!

I like the analogy If indeed Bayern play Dortmund at Wembley on the 25th May then i'm mightily tempted to head to London to soak in the pre match festivities. Get a crate of Holsten Pils and fraternise with the invading Hun.

That can be quite fun, as several evenings out in Berlin/munich/Nuremburg can testify.
