Hopefully Brendan Rogers will be sensible about it and dock him pay/think of some form of humiliating punishment. He's not going to suspend him, no manager would do that.
Ivanovich could of course sue him. The fact they were playing football doesn't stop it from being a physical attack. Attempted Bodily harm?

If he was a dog he'd be put down.
Ajax did suspend him before he was later banned for 7 games for doing the same thing 3 years ago. Given that and other recent disciplinary issues, you'd hope a sizeable ban would be put in place, several months worth at least.

Fantastic role model!
It annoys me that these highly paid footballers are allowed to act so anti-socially. If I were to bite someone at work I'd lose my job - Why doesn't the same happen to footballers? Yes, I know, Man City or another big club would come along and buy him.
Why can't people like Suarez, Terry etc be 'black-balled' and just fade into oblivion?

Having already been banned for 7 games for biting an opponent, and 8 games for racially abusing an opponent how many games will he be banned for this time.
For me, anything less than 10 will mean he has got off lightly.
Personally I would double the 7 games he got for doing it last time.
