Not sure which thread this to go on.

Papa Johns Trophy having a weekend of finals.

Last seasons final on the saturday, and then this seasons on the sunday

Hilarious if Salford win, they’ll only be holders for a day

What if Salford or Pompey make this year’s final as well.

Pretty sure neither club are still in the tournament.

A Wellens team not doing well in a cup competition?

I find that hard to believe!

England have offered to host the entire Euro Tournament this summer as they reckon crowds will be allowed back for sporting events by the end of May.

Not sure the rest of Europe will be quite so keen on that, given our dismal track record

May could be a bit optimistic, however, the vaccination roll out is going incredibly well in Euroland that they’ll pass up our generous offer either out of a pique of indignation or because they firmly believe they can pull it off. I wish them luck with that. I can see it going ahead in Europe with no fans and the games here without fans from other countries though.

That’s in the wrong thread for me!

Goodison is one of the few remaining proper grounds left

I know what you mean, it was more a case of seeing a Council stick their neck out a bit for a club.
