That the car in front of me is not going to get above 40mph. I did the school run this morning and when I got to the roundabout that takes me onto the main road, there they were..... a recycling wagon, a digger and a learner, all in a merry row. To be fair they were the least of my worries, I got stuck behind a "qualified" driver who managed to drag out one of my common commute phrases "It would be quicker to get out and walk". Gits! I saw a good one yesterday - a Ka was in front of me and got to the roundabout with LEFT indicator flashing; not only did they turn RIGHT but they managed to totally ignore the car to their right who was already on the roundabout  Doh

It's a long time since I've waved to another driver but I feel that day is fast approaching  Embarrassed

Did you learn about the executions in Burford Chuchyard?  Nice plaque there to commemorate those sorry events. Also, there's Levellers Day in May

Thanks for that, Reg.

Was in Burford yesterday but I saw no reference to the upcoming celebrations.

I do shudder when setting foot in Oxfordshire - had to hightail it to Stow PDQ

Fair play to him. I used to do weights, but then a hernia got in the way  Smiley

Might get back into it.

Was he lifting more than you?

Not quite, but for his age he was doing a fair few curls on the free weights! If I can do that when I get to his age then I'll look back on the conversation I had with him today!
