This is a bit better...communication has got to be good.
Is this meeting going to be an open forum (which it should be), or more a case of lets sit down and have tea and cake with Nigel from the SC and a couple of lads from the Trust?
I'd like to think Town fans, would prefer to hear the truth, even if unpalatable, than some BS crap.

As reported, representatives of the Supporters Trust - as well as the Supporters Club - should be meeting Jed next week. As I understand it this meeting won't be open to all, but if people have questions they'd like to see asked, they should tweet @TrustSTFC or visit www.truststfc.com and use the 'contact us' tab to drop the Trust a line. The Trust believes in fan representation and wants to speak for as many Town fans as possible. I'd also encourage people to join (it's only a fiver) as the more fans the Trust represents, the stronger and louder its voice.

In which case, I'd say it undermines any attempt to defuse matters....even the Holt/Gray axis used to face the fans at occasional open meetings (admittedly they kept Diamandis in a dark cupboard).

It's a start, and as a democratic organisation the Trust will only be there to air the most pressing concerns communicated to it by its members and the wider supporter base. Get in touch with your concerns, Reg, I guarantee they will be very similar to the concerns of others both within and without the Trust. In the long term it is probably unrealistic for McCrory to hold regular meetings with the entire supporter base, but if we build the Trust we can press him for open, minuted dialogue on a regular basis at which the concerns of the fans can be expressed through the Trust and the opinions of the board be delivered openly to the fans… The Trust is not a secret society. No one person in the Trust has a louder voice than any other. One member, one vote and all that. It's your voice, use it. www.truststfc.com

I can understand the attendance being limited. It's unrealistic to have hundreds/thousands present.
But will we be told that certain discussions will not be made public à la Jeremy Wray?

I can understand the frustration that this isn't an open public forum with all fans invited, and I'd hope the board will do just that in the summer once the POs are over (and we are hopefully in the Championship)
But in the short term this is a positive step, apart from the Adver and Jeds occasional tweets we've had very little in terms of info from the new lot. I'e submitted a question to the Trust this morning and would encourage others to do like wise. I'm sure they'll be open and honest about what is discussed.

Wray was attending that meeting as a private individual, this is a meeting with the current owners, slightly different circumstances.

Neither am I expecting Jed to hold regular meetings with the entire fan base, but you'd have thought the first thing they'd want to do is have an open meeting....let's face it most Town fans are pretty apathetic, so you'd probably get 50 or so tops. I recall the previous Board...holding one, not long after taking over....after Fitton had disengaged himself from the lurching drunken welcome from Gazzza Stanley...he laid down the basic points that his Board, wouldn't be throwing money at it, but there would be funds for buying the odd young player identified as worth an investment....and they would start on the "low hanging fruit", in other words a lick of paint here and there and similar simple initiatives, all of which came to give the place a better feel. The avoidance of having such a meeting just makes me think they have something to hide...

Sam will be reporting on the meeting for the Adver, so I believe.

And did they not do an open Q&A in the Legend's before the Walsall game? Think it was Murrall and Hooper iirc.

I hear you, Reg, and perhaps the Trust could call for just such a meeting at these discussions if this proves to be a concern of more supporters…

Anyway
It seems to me as though we have a collection of individuals, most of whom has been branded guilty by association in the past without actually having done anything wrong themselves.
I don't know at which point it all becomes a bit too much of a coincidence.
