American ownership might be a good thing. They could bring some
much needed fresh ideas. I imagine that there might be some push back when proposals come to light regarding a name change. Swindon Soccer Robins might not go down too well.

Quite. It's not necessarily that they are interested in STFC per see. It might be that they want to get involved with English football and STFC is a current opportunity to do so. Or it might be something more sinister. We'll just have to wait and see (if they even buy the club). |
