It's more like one of those ITV phone-in-to-answer-pointless-question-so-we-can-take-your-money competitions than a fans player of the year vote.

This should be in the "what's wrong with football" thread. Gone are the days when you had to predict the top 6, so it required a bit of skill.

It's fucking bollocks. Why would anyone pay £1 to vote for a player of the year?

Think I'll just tweet my vote to Advercraig and ask him to ring it in from his office phone.

Devera and he's hardly played but he should win for that left footed cross alone, can't remember who against.

They lost my vote as soon as I saw they were charging.

It's Matt Ritchie, we have hardly played any football since he left anyway.

It's odd that a season that could (however unlikely) end up in promotion seems to be ending on such a downbeat way.

Normally the goalkeeper wins in a shit season....think this now qualifies as a shit season, so Foderingham for me..

Usually the winner of PotY, these days, moves on fairly swiftly after receiving the award.  Who's number 2 keeper at Sunderland?

This reminds me of the Fjortoft days when everyone wanted to vote for him after he'd gone to Boro.
