I have tried Marmite in the past but it just doesn't dissolve. Oxo Gravey granules are a reasonable substitute

They switched to Oxo at the CG a couple of years back. Disgraceful

Did they sort the chips out at the CG? There was a lot of bother about warm chips. Last time I was there they ran out of burgers and I had to settle for a steak and kidney pie. Very reluctantly.
