It's ironic, given the current thisis mongfest, that Sam has produced another excellent, balanced piece which the saner fans will identify with.  Without sounding like the Morshead Appreciation Society, he's got to be the best Adver journo we've had, certainly in recent memory.

I like Sam's work, but this is not his best article.  It is too full of laboured metaphors, like an unwelcome jar or pickles on a sunny day.

Totally agree with Sam's comments and posted very similar point of view on 'thisis' the other day...  big mistake that was!
