At the sponsors evening he had his foot in one of those boot things that support & protect the ankle.

Bad news, just goes to show how important it was to get that M'Bargum lifted.

On the positive side, he's not going to catch the eye of any other teams while out, so we should be able to get him signed up for next season. On the negative side, our best defender and player of the season IMO. Totally gutted.

What makes it more annoying still is that it was a crap challenge on him that the ref didn't see anything wrong with !  Angry

Agreed it was a crap challenge but the ref booked Simpson for it so not fair to say he didn't see anything wrong!

Quite right too, everyone should know that a foul on a Swindon player should be an automatic Red Card, whereas every foul by a Swindon player is just an unfortunate accident & should be punished by no more than a free kick and possible ticking off.

This is the sor of situation that scares me.

Nathan is going to be hard to replace whilst he recovers. Other stalwarts could get crocked for a few weeks and we could get by, Nathan is not in that catagory (mind you, due to work shit, I have missed the last two home games so haven't experienced the post UmBongo loanees).

He edges my vote for Player Of The Season over Wes.
