Hi Sam,
Good work with the pages. I would be willing to 'pass on' some of my inside information for a small monthly fee. Just search for my scoop on a certain Paul Duffen for an example of the extent of my knowledge.
PM if you wish to discuss this further.

Nah I just don't like it there. I have had a lot of bad experiences there and not related to football either.
Did you fail to matriculate in Greats?

I'll second that, there's a Samuel Smiths pub in Marylebone, The Angel in the Fields, the stout is great. A few doors down is a fantastic sit down fish and chips, The Golden Hind http://www.timeout.com/london/restaurants/golden-hindIf you're in that area of London, well worth checking out.

No I had an attempted mugging against me in the city centre and also had 2 cars stolen in Swindon by some Poxford scumbags that were caught racing them in the city centre (on seperate occassions!).

The thing with Sam Smith's is that down the about the midlands it is cask but further south it tends to be nitrokeg. So in the north you can get a bad pint (or a much better one) in the south it will be uniform.
But that Sam Smith- he's just a pain on Twitter, makes Dan The Fan seem insightful.

I live oop north and there are several Sam Smith's pubs around here. As far as I can recall, all of the draft products are "own brand" so that includes the lager (2 types I think), stout, cider, cask bitter and keg "smooth" bitter. I suppose it's possible that the smooth travels better and is therefore more common down south, but I would have thought the type you get just depends on which sort the landlord decides to stock?
All of the bottles, spirits, cordials, pops are non-branded as well so if you're getting a round for two, you can usually get some decent change out of a fiver regardless of what two drinks you get.
I love Sam Smiths!
