Accepting the FL are being fair with everyone (which you HAVE to assume they are), then the reason can only be down to our board and our situation... it's as simple as that. The board could not have met the requirements, or even possibly we aren't in an embargo anyway and they are saving some money? It's all possible... But the FL are not trying to stop us getting promoted by enforcing our tiny squad, they just aren't.

Our tiny squad which remember meant us being in embargo earlier in the season... There are a plethora of reasons why the current situation has arisen some to blame on the old board, some on the new board and some on the old management regime, to just blame the new board all seems somewhat narow minded and simplistic. |

This. There is one entity responsible for this and that is STFC. Be it Andrew Black and the old board or Jed and the new guys, or a combination of the two, the people in charge have massively ballsed this up. It's not going to be dull here guys, I'd almost be willing to bet the club changes hands again in the next 12 months but I hope that's because we get promoted and someone wants to buy us, not because something catastrophic has happened. Roll on tomorrow for some actual football again! |
