just to keep up the non football quota....

any of you know of any used car garages which have a trustworthy "vehicle sourcing" service...

I know exactly the car I am looking for, but would rather use someones 'trade' contacts than just relying on Autotrader etc.

Trustworthy is the key...e.g not that dodgy place up station road near greenbridge, and certainly not the car shop..

Cheers muckers.

I know they are private sales, but you will get a bargain.

Try Fish Brothers (the Skoda dealer in Swindon) who have now moved next to the old Chinese experience. I know it's obvious and they might be a bit more but they are much more likely to have the capacity to get stock vehicles from Skoda UK.

Fish bros are over priced compared to other dealers.

Plus you can test drive as many as you'd like and they have over 4000 to choose from.

Wonder if they'd let you test drive all 4000.

I don't think so.
I went to several places including the Car Shop, Allen Ford, Skurrays and popped into the Peugeot garage on the off chance on the way back home and was impressed with the service and got a good deal on a Peugeot 207 and getting what I wanted in part exchange for my Corsa.

It's going to cost an absolute shitload, probably £1.5k for even the turdest car?

Cheers for the reply, Have since sorted out and your estimate is very close, just under 1.5k but will rise a fair bit once he passes his test unless we get a black box fitted which would then keep it around the same.
