I've just arrived in Cambodia where a family we are helping out have a daughter(about 12 years old at a guess) who has down syndrome. She's never spoken and I have to admit I know very little about the symptoms, will have to read up.
Good luck with raising awareness/funds, cool picture too. I'd wear odd socks but I don't think they'd go with my flip-flops !

I must get some flamboyant socks, as although i'm wearing odd socks today, it isn't obvious as they're both black but with different pictures. One has Stewie Griffin the other has STFC logo (both pairs were Christmas presents I might add). All of my socks seem to be black, navy or dark grey! It's the though that counts anyway |
