Someone help and picture the scene.
I go to my storemanager and tell him i'd like some time off over xmas. He said as i'm part time and i only normally do about 15 hours a week to just tell the manager who rights the shifts out when i discuss with him what i can do over the holidays. We agreed i could have NYE off. The schedule is put up and i've be scheduled to work. i've spent all week telling him i wont be working and he just mumbles the same crap. So after another banter exchanging and him not thinking i'm being very serious he told me if i dont turn up he will give me a warning. I told him i have religious commitments (it's none of his business why i want it off anyway) and i will sue if he gives me the warning.
I beileve i'm totally in my rights to sue and want to ask all you know chaps if i have a strong chance and to tell me i'm rights he's wrong.
