Best were Fuse bars, not sure what happened to them but they were great.  Recently found a bar of dairy milk mixed with toffee popcorn which was good.

Oh and chocolate in the fridge? You might as well put your red wine in as well you heathens!

Wholeheartedly agree.

The Mrs loves nothing better than a bar straight from the fridge. Personally I think it absolutely kills the flavour.

Used to love a Yorkie, but I think they must've changed the recipe because they just don't taste the same now as they did 10 years ago.

I don't partake in a chocolate bar too often these days, but I do enjoy a Boost or some Fruit & Nut.

Am I alone in really disliking cold/refrigerated chocolate? It loses most of it's flavour! If anything, i like it slightly on the melty side...

Edit: just seen above - obviously not!!

Can anyone remember Cadbury's Old Jamaica?  It was a blend of milk and dark chocolate,  containing rum soaked raisins. That was lovely chocolate!

Still making them, just really hard to find, but you can get them online

Double Decker makes me feel quite manley. Temperature is crucial though, if the nougart is too cold and hard the bar is a write off

Unfilled slab, particularly dark chocolate needs a good time out of a fridge before you eat it.

Stuff like Mars bars and Snickers much less so. Most of the bar is nougat or caramel anyway, and the chocolate is much lower in cocoa solids so doesn't need the higher temperatures to melt and get edible.

These can be a bit sickly at room temperature and much nicer after refrigeration.

Now we're talking about decent quality chocolate, the Green and Blacks Milk Chocolate with Butterscotch, the Dark with Burnt Toffee, the Dark with Expresso, and the new Milk with Sea Salt are all good.

I'm not trying deliberately to question your Aero-love, but the green bit has always been a disappointment to me.  It tastes more like toothpaste than chocolate and the texture is a let down as well.  It's a green, sugary mess that I'm not sure has anything chocolatey about it at all.

And any chocolate bar whose USP is having bubbles of air (ie tiny pockets of no chocolate at all) pumped in to it gets the thumbs down from me.
