This is a clip posted on the Yellow Pigs site, showing their "magnificent support" midweek

(lovely bit towards the end where they are "standing up to hate Swindon")

Contrast this miserable clip with the (admitedly already posted) clip below

Yellows posters seemed to think Paolo's Barcelona comparisons were high flown.

They were actually understated when you compare them at the Kebab and us at the Ricoh.

Might be useful to post a Ricoh clip to give John Lennon an idea on how an away day (super saturday or not) should be?

I would have posted it, but I can't be bothered to join

I think their highly promoted "Ultimate Support day" attracted 600 fans to Southend
I think this is actually less than last seasons average !

This quote - actually referring to the match in the video clip - is fucking hilarious

"In fact I thought it was the best atmosphere I have ever witnessed at a football game. I was a season ticket holder with a Ipswich Town when they were in Europe, and the atmosphere from Tuesday will was even better than playing Inter Milan at home.

I for one as well as my son will attend all the games remaining this season, as we enjoy our time together.

Here hope for next year

The Oxford clip reminded me a little of how some of our games felt during the Andy King period, where the biggest chants were self-deprecating and ironic.  Truly depressing.  More atmosphere on Mars.

We've all had lowest ebbs. This isn't even Oxford's.

Remember that 3-2 win over Huddersfield under Malpas? Under 5,000 that night.

I think someone was pulling someone else's chain with that.

I thought that initially but he did go onto say

Quote
I was unfortunately away for both scums games last year serving in Afghanistan with the RAF.

And my other hobby takes me all over Europe, I have never been to a football match on the continent so have never witnessed first hand the atmosphere.

I was only commenting on what I thought was a brilliant atmosphere and I hope it continues.

He was accused of that, but he's standing by his comments
