After that game the Meca is having a German umpa night like the beerfest type nights. It's £10 a ticket which includes your stein & £4 a litre for the beer.

I'm only going because my brother in law has brought 20 tickets for his friends for his birthday, but at £4 for a litre it is good value. Also it is something different from going to a normal pub.

 It might be worth drawing people's attention, to te fact that the Curry Garden is closing for a while for a refit. When it re-opens it will try and be more authentically Islamic....namely halal meat and no alcohol.

Have they been taken over? Not long had a refit,around 2-3 years
