As Sutton says, it's far and away the worst year for pitches in recent memory. The norm seems to be playing away on cow fields. In the past few years we've had to put up with it at Rovers but that's it really. Fantastic effort from the ground staff. I hope the new lot continue to invest as heavily in it as we currently do.

And yet the paradox is we do well away and struggle at home.

Great stuff, best pitch in the league by far! I was shocked at how bad Coventry's was, especially for a new stadium!

Same could be said for Wembley really...(best we don't go there)

I may be wrong but think they've finally sorted it now. Not that it helps us.

Problem with Large Stadia pitches a lot of the time is the Stadia itself shadows the grass ans subsequently not enough sun gets to the playing surface.

The Swindon pitch is perfectly positioned to get lots of Sun.
