I can't understand what Rooney ever did that warranted him being told he couldn't train with the senior squad? If Bodin was letting him train with the youths then that would explain some of the animosity between him and PDC.

Either way, surely if you want to get rid of a player it makes some sense to get him fit (albeit not match fit due to no reserve games)?
