Ok then, Fraser was the winner by miles on the goalkeeper front, unless someone comes on a very late run!

For the defenders I have decided to do the voting a different way.
There are too many to put up on one poll and if I do 4 polls there's a chance people can't vote for their 2nd/3rd favourites as they're on the same one.

So, listed below are all the defenders I can come up with. If i've missed any then sorry, feel free to add them. I haven't put Charlie Henry on here for example as I am putting him in the strikers section as though he started as a defender I remember him most for the 85-86 season and the Gillingham play off goal.

List your favourite 10 defenders in order of ones you like most etc, once all the voting is done I will award 10 points for 1st, 9 for 2nd etc and the 4 players with the most votes will go into the team.

This is a long list so here goes (in no particular order of preference)

Steve Aizlewood
Kevin Baddeley
Marlon Broomes
Paul Bodin
Brian Borrows
John Bell
Colin Bailie
Frank Burrows
Joe Butler
Colin Calderwood
Ian Culverhouse
John Cornwell
David Cole
Jason Drysdale
Frederic Darras
Gareth Davies
Sol Davis
David Duke
Will Dixon
Owen Dawson
Gary Elkins
Gareth Edds
Andy Ford
Jon Gittens
Andy Gurney
Mike Graham
Nigel Gray
Stan Harland
Dave Hockaday
Gareth Hall
Matthew Heywood
Jerel Ifil
Steve Jenkins
David Kerslake
Phil King
Nestor Lorenzo
Russell Lewis
Ken McPherson
Keith Morgan
Dave Mackay
John McLaughlin
Alan McDonald
Mel Nurse
Andy Nicholas
Sean O'Hanlon
Tim Parkin
David Peach
Colin Prophett
Ron Potter
Mark Robinson
Alan Reeves
Chris Ramsey
Paul Roberts
Mark Seagraves
Kenny Stroud
Wilf Shergold
John Trollope
John Templeman
Billy Tucker
Rod Thomas
Andy Thomson
Craig Taylor
Shaun Taylor
Adrian Viveash
Bobby Woodruff
Adam Willis
Terry Wollen

I think that covers most defenders over the past 40 years, gone through the programmes etc. As i said earlier, if I missed anyone just put them in your list.

Viveash was just as crap the first time round, you can't pick him.

Taylor, Calderwoord and Bodin are my favourites in that order.

Players like Kerslake and Paul Bodin....were more attackers than defenders ,therefore didn't get included.
