Town board hope to appoint new boss before Saturday
           
           



  SWINDON Town’s new owners hope to appoint a replacement for Paolo Di Canio before the weekend trip to Coventry.

Could be...unfortunately, you can't really argue against the deceision to get someone at such short notice, and that means they probably will be a dull retread.

The man whose latest achievement was getting Luton to 10th place - and 14 points shy of the play off places - in the Conference?  The knives would be out almost immediately.

It would also be a strange move for a clearly passionate Luton fan to poach Luton's manager for his 'new' club.

I think that will depend upon the candidates, if its MacDonald I feel it will be til the end of the season but if its an experienced manager it will be longer term IMO.
