if this is how we are going to start playing then i don't think we'll even make the playoffs
It certainly sounds worrying. From what I've listened to this season, it appears that we need to score the first goal. If we do that then we tend to score lots. If we don't then the team doesn't seem to be able to adapt and starts to panic. The last few games (I missed Tranmere) seem to mark a different pattern. We have seemed to be poor.

Start? We've been playing badly for awhile now. In the Hartlepool game it was a little embarrassing how well they passed the ball around compared to us, and since John Hughes has gone in there they are making a great stab at avoiding relegation.

We've been functional this season as opposed to good to watch and its worked for us.

"as it stands"-3 points off the top with a game in hand and a vastly superior goal difference.Fucking disastrous!

I prefer this one. (Because I helped build it and he lived)

but it appears all the hard work is slowly being undone Adje. If the board haven't even started looking for a manager then that game in hand and goal deficit will slip away. teams like Bury/hartlepool we should be beating easily yet are struggling against them. We've a hard trip to Coventry saturday then walsall + brentford who are both i the top ten. if we can't beat teams who are in the bottom 4 then what hope do we have

Hmmm....

Well at least we might be a 'sustainable' club now.... Roll Eyes

Instead of a non-existent club!  Fuck me! Did you think we were just gonna carry on the way we were until we won the champions league?

This isn't just bad. It's Colchester bad.

Small signs in last 10 we worked out their centre half's chew up and spit out long balls for fun. Clutching at straws though. Ref is a cunt too.
