No more Paolo Di Canio's Swindon Town, no more Paoulo corrections, this is the end. We loved you being our manager but no one puts themself before the club. Thanks for an eventful 18 months but it's over. Let's go our separate ways. Ciao  Bye

Yep I agree, I wanted him back after the first few days but now...a fresh start is needed all round.

So long and thanks for all the fish......

You guys are very fickle, 2 months you were kissing his ring piece every day of the week. Can you not see why all the other fans in the Football League are laughing at us at the moment?

I still think that if the players buy into it, then he would be the best chance of promotion. However I think he may have jumped the shark as it were where it comes to a fair few fans.

And they'd have all done the same if he was their manager.....and we'd have been laughing at them. All fans are fickle when it comes to their team.

Yes, football fans are fickle. This does not come as a shock to anyone.

Give it a bit of time and people will remember the positive things he bought to the club and look back at it fondly. Right now people are just upset and bitter.

Thanks for the memories Paolo, both good and bad, but lets face it he is not coming back so we have to move on.

There was always a significant number on here, who wanted PdC out because of his interview technique and constant falling out with players he deemed not good enough.

They've got their wish...

In fairness, the constant falling out with players was costing us a fortune.

I don't recall anyone ever demanding his resignation or calling for him to be sacked because of his tenure here. Politics? Yes, there were many who were disappointed and angry at his appointment.

This is the end

Beautiful friend

This is the end

My only friend, the end

Of our elaborate plans, the end

Of everything that stands, the end

No safety or surprise, the end

I'll never look into your eyes...again

Can you picture what will be

So limitless and free

Desperately in need...of some...stranger's hand

In a...desperate land

Lost in a Roman...wilderness of pain

And all the children are insane

All the children are insane

Waiting for the summer rain, yeah

There were plenty who said they would be unconcerned or happy if he left....remember we had a couple of "I nearly left" stories.
