Absolutely not. Just wait and see.

Duffen probably couldn't get through the fit and proper test....but probably can be employed as CEO or something.

A while back some of the Clap thought the fact that Black was retaining an interest meant, he'd keep a handle on dodgy stuff, but now it seems he's sold all his shares.

Unfortunately when people say they "know things" and refuse point blank to reveal it to anyone then this has to be treated as bullshit I am afraid.

This is nothing personal at all this is just how it is.

We know Black is history...the key here has to be Watkins, if he goes fairly rapidly, then I think things will be looking grim. If he stays any length of time it would reassure the fan base.

To be honest, it's not a ridiculous thing to suggest. It just might be true.

But if it's online, just provide the link. Until then we're all going by a Daily Mail sentence.

I read the adver article as he's being retained but sadly i think it's a show the ropes job.
Hope I'm wrong

Edit: here's the quote from the adver
"Watkins, who for now will be retained by the incoming owners, believes the group will exhibit genuine passion for the game which can only help the club"

Why should he...it's important that we remain vigilant here, as this place can be a platform for opposition to the Board, Chris has thrown a name into the ring, which is at least backed with something...a name that is associated with malpractice at a football club.

Keeping NW would be an excellent move from the new board... However I can't see it happening.

I don't know anything about Duffen but it is feasible that people who aren't allowed to be a direcor at at a football club can join in another role...

If it's on the internet that he's been 'picked up' already then why does he not just give us the fucking link?

Or was the daily Mail article it? An unsubstantiated article saying nothing more than he's been approached. Is that what you were referring to on the net chris?

I don't understand why people feel the need to share half a story, it's extremely irritating.  Either give us all the facts or don't bother saying anything.
