Having lived in Luton for a few years, I did enjoy the Real Madrid and Luton statement.

The implication that Luton is as low as you can get amused me somewhat

Wonder if it was a dig at the new consortium's Luton connections ?

Clearly after PDC we have been spoilt, but those 3 names don't exactly exude confidence.

Its a shame, because looking at the next 2 home games, Preston and Bury, we could really push on from here.

Black and PDC really have picked their moments sadly Sad

Nothing exciting about those names at all. Though how does anyone follow PDC?

Thats why i think it should either be another first time manager who had a good playing career as we've had so much success with in the past (Hoddle, Ardiles even McMahon) or someone who has a connection to the club as i think this keeps the fans on side more than any of these people.

Quick google search and Gus McPherson did a pretty good job in scottish league it seems

the type of manager who "throws their name into the ring" are the type who nobody will touch with a fucking barge pole.

saying that, Thorn basically managed Coventry with his hands tied behind his back and blindfolded.

Is Bobby Gould dead? Is that the only reason his name isn't on the list. It usually is.....

I'd have Thorn here, but only as a scout. Great eye for a player.
