The more Arriba mentions Cotteril the more I like the idea of him being our manager (Cotteril, not Arriba).

I think he fits the bill well for us. No compo to pay out for his services, experienced at differing levels, calm, level headed, has worked under budgets-pressure before and has plenty of contacts.
The players will respect him i'm sure. Honestly looks the perfect man for us imo.

No they wouldn't.

If you are happy with Kevin Macdonald then fair play to you. Personally, if he gets the job, I'm going to a lot less fewer games.

If we appoint Mourinho, I'm going to bin my season ticket and not return until he's gone.

My only concern would be that he doesn't seem to hang around in jobs for long, Cheltenham aside.

Personally my level of attendance isn't dependant on whether I like the manager

Each to their own though

Is he? If so then maybe. I know he's mates with Jamie Redknapp. Thought his last job was Forest where he was booted out for nowt?

@sonic Could say the same about nearly every manager in the game really

Why?

He joined them in January this year on an open-ended but short-term basis. If he wanted to leave, it'd probably cost minimal compensation.

Steve Cotterill are you having a laugh? Speak to Forest, Burnley, Portsmouth fans etc about him, only done well at Cheltenham, as for McDonald very good coach but terrible manager failed at Carlisle as manager.

I'd rather not have a journeyman manager who has failed at most of the clubs he's managed at. This rules out quite a lot. Therefore give someone else their first job or a manager doing well in their current job.
