ok thanks anyway , anyone else know ?
just thought it was an extraordinary amount for a club at our level
We've been told the overall wage bill is 250K a month...which is 3 mill a year by my maths...450K is a fair chunk of that and seems too high

Adkins was on £200k at Southampton when in our league.
Which makes me think £450k is a vast over estimation.

Is it possible for that sum to cover all of PdC's team?

exactly what i was thinking , i know journalists make up shit and they seemed to pick that figure from thin air. Im sure the new owners wont be paying anything like that. As for Adkins that seems about right for a club like southampton to be fair

£3m would be a pretty lowly wage bill by our standards and certainly not one we would struggle to fund on an ongoing basis.

I would think it unlikely, even with a nice wage going to PS as advisor, but who knows I wouldn't rule anything out.

it might be a lowly wage bill by our previous standards, but we most certainly would struggle to fund it on an ongoing basis - unless of course you expect the owners to make up the shortfall again, until they get bored and pull funding the gap, etc etc etc Unless you mean total payroll bill (as opposed to playing staff bill) then we might be in with a shout.

Total staff and player bill. You have to go back to 2006 for it to be that low. Our turnover was only £3.2m that year. We've brought in far more revenue (from non-player sales) in the last 2 seasons. Really we need last season's accounts, but they haven't been filed yet.

I'm not sure that Si Pie is being completely serious here...

This thread should be treated like the Transfer Rumours thread. Enough of these facts and figures from the previous management.

Agreed, but we pretty much 'know' the playing wage bill alone is £3m this year. Completely unsustainable on our gates.
