Actually think Picaretta could be a good shout, do we actually know who did what day to day?
Just think of Wise, blindingly obvious with hindsight that Poyet was actually the brains in that partnership, could be the same her?

The danger with Piccaretta is that we appoint him and as soon as Paolo goes elsewhere, we're back to square one. Financially, it may be our only option. In all my time as a fan though, I'm not sure I've known less about an assistant manager?

He's actually mute. Not many people know that.

STEVE KEAN <3
I agree. The number 3 would be a better choice than Kean.

Being completely honest, I couldn't even reel off the names of Di Canio's staff. I'm not sure whether that's because they are too much in Di Canio's shadow, their names are complicated or a bit of both

His real name is Arctic Peat. Piccaretta is just an anagram.

Piccareta has just been confirmed to be taking tomorrows game and I honestly wouldn't mind him taking the job until the end of the season. Players know him, he'll presumably not change much and hopefully get us up.
Long term, someone young, hungary, ambitious.
Just don't want a sentimental appointment.

If we're looking for a manager who focuses on fitness, discipline, scouting skills and a proven track record shouldn't the door be open to the return of Lou Macari (if the coach leaves 1/2 an hour early tomorrow we could pick him up from Manchester!). He knows the club, has the respect of the fans could be a perfect time for him to come on a temp contract till June
